• Arrive at Goblin Village in company of Grenal
    • Assigns some huts for rest
    • LLOD-IV notices something unusual in the pile, eventually determining it is a bag of holding. When turned inside out it contains: Malachite stone, crude flint dagger, three marbles, mystery key, 11 silver, 1/2 eaten rations and a goblin child using it as a fort (kids find a way!).
    • Torrych sheds his armour and looks much more confident in his movements without it. Has a “V” pattern on his chest (note: might have gotten this wrong, ask Garrett later)
    • PCs get a long rest
    • On waking, other PCs notice that Cyn has a complex pattern of fine green lines travelling up his left arm coming his mark and very small mushrooms are growing along them. On noticing it Cyn concentrates on it for a moment and it disappears. He doesn’t comment on it.
  • Travel to trophy room
    • At entrance LLOD-IV knocks on the door and through Violet (who is the only one who speaks draconic) talks with the dragon turtle, Plurtick
      • Seems willing to talk but it being harassed by someone trying to chain him up
    • PCs throw open the door and engage the harassing creature (a bugbear), easily defeating it
    • LLOD-IV thru Violet negotiate with Plurtick to return to the bullywugs. They agree but only if not put in cage again
    • Looting the trophy room find figurine, goblet, fine silverware and a old sealed dwarven scroll
    • No one speaks dwarven but Holly is mostly to make out some of the gist.
      * No drums in the deep…
      * …by order of Durgadin The Black
      * …none have found us…however…
    • Case & scroll worth about 50gp to the right community

** Bev & I distracted with strawberry shortcake prep and emergency whipping cream run so missed some here

  • Head back to Splagel with Plurtick
    • Plurtick agrees to stay with bullywugs
    • LLOD-IV gets keys from Splagel to open double locked doors found earlier
  • Back tracking to locked doors
    • Attacked by two Citrullus plants. Easily defeated with minor damage to the party
    • Investigate the “water heater roof”, which is exactly as described
    • Come back to double locked doors which open easily with keys, water rushes in to previous dry chamber
  • Beyond the locked doors
    • Large green dragon statue
    • When approached the dragon speaks and offers a riddle, “Runs but never walks, where I go you are behind me”. Answer is “Nose”. LLOD-IV figures it out (because players couldn’t…sigh).
    • Door opens into another small room with three holes in the top. LLOD-IV & Cyn enter and doors slam shut and water starts pouring in from holes, quickly filling it.
    • Panic ensues until a voice is heard offering to shut off water for returned help
    • LLOD-IV hastily agrees
    • Water shuts off and original door to statue opens, as well as a second door to a new chamber
  • Entering the new chamber
    • Another nice looking room (now also filling with water from the main citadel). Statues of regal goblins line the chamber.
    • Hanging from a handwheel is a quasit (small demon) that appears to be the source of the voice
      • Introduces themselves as Jot
      • Tells LLOD-IV that she must keep up her end of the deal and asked to be hit as hard as they can
      • LLOD-IV shrugs and punch Jot in the face
      • Jot thanks her, claims to now be released from service the dragon priest, goes invisible and leaves
    • At the end of the root is a 10’ across, 15’ deep pit, now full of water. Spike can be seen below
    • Across the pit a green yellowish light is coming from a doorway
    • PCs plan to swim across, except LLOD-IV who will walk along the bottom
  • Tension Dice = 3
